    The Planning Commission is comprised of seven volunteer residents that act as an independent voice representing the overall interest of the Township. The Members of the Commission are appointed by the Board of Supervisors and act as an advisory group to them, as well as to the Zoning Hearing Board. Some of the duties include advising the Township in regard to long-range planning, recommendation of changes to the Official Township Zoning Map, proposed zoning ordinance changes, and subdivision and land development plans.
 The Commission also advises the Zoning Hearing Board by reviewing all special use applications pending before the Board.
